On the 4th of June, AESLEME received the Linea Directa Solidary Prize. The ceremony was celebrated in the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía (National Museum Reina Sofía Art Centre) and it was presided by Mrs. Esperanza Aguirre, President of the Community of Madrid. In the act, María Dolores Dancausa, Delegate Council of Linea Directa participated; as well as Pere Navarro, General Director of DGT, and Pilar González de Frutos, Unespa president.
In these 5th awards, Journalism of Road Safety of Linea Directa, 349 jobs were presented and awarded:

The Asociación Española de la Carretera (AEC, The Spanish Association For The Road) has awarded Mar Cogollos, director of AESLEME, the Medal of Honour with an honourable mention.
The director of AESLEME, Mrs. Mar Cogollos received the Road Medal with honourable mention on the 6th of June in the Caminos School of Engineers. Miguel Muñoz Medina, president of AEC, handed the medal in hand to Mar Cogollos, after the proposal fur such recognition was granted by the Confederación Nacional de Autoescuelas (National Confederation of Driving Schools). According to the representatives of the Association, “Mar Cogollos has become one of the most distinguished figures in matters of road safety in our coutry”.
Other entities that were honoured were Mr. Aniceto Zaragoza, General Director of OFICEMEN and Mr. Emmanuel Maranha das Neves, President of La Comisión Ejecutiva del Centro Rodoviario Portugués (CPR) (Executive Commission of the Portuguese Road Centre) and the vice-president of the European Road Federation.
During the act, 41 people received their awards for having contributed to the progress in road safety which the AEC have been awarding since 1966.

The “European Norauto Award for Road Safety” gives awards to the best European initiatives in Road Safety.
AEAESLEME-IRSA has been given their fourth award in the category of “National Actions” for their development of a road safety education project for young people in 2007 called “Road Show”. AESLEME and IRSA (entity which introduced this project in Spain) have developed this initiative in Spain with the collaboration of Stop Accidents.
The awards were celebrated in the Hotel Palace in Madrid on the 12th of September, 2007.

AESLEME and IRSA are awarded with the Solidarity Prize 2007
AESLEME-IRSA have been awarded in the 7th edition of the “Insurance Solidary Awards 2007” for their work on the prevention of traffic accidents through the project “Road Show”, which is organized in all Spain. Once again Liberty Seguros insurance company was the company that honoured our association´s work, an award that was received by Juan Ángel García Reneses, founding member of AESLEME.

AESLEME was awarded the Road Safety Award 2007 within the 2nd national safety and emergency wards
AESLEME and IRSA were honoured in the 2nd National Safety and Emergency Awards 2007 with the “Road Safety Award” for their joint development on the Road Safety programme for youths called “Road Show”.
The award gala was celebrated within the Emergency Global Encounter. The prize was received by Antonio Montejano, president of IRSA Spain and Gustavo Allmela, responsible for Exterior Relations of AESLEME.
